Message from the Captain - Gary Hunt

We’re currently looking for afternoon course marshals to help keep pace of play moving smoothly, as well as more volunteers for bird chasers. If you’re interested, we’d love your support!

Also, a reminder to stick around after your round—rather than just entering your score on the MiClub app and heading off, come in and support the club. Lastly, if your mates book you into a comp and you know you can’t make it, please remove yourself to free up spots for others. Thanks for your cooperation and ongoing support!

We’re calling for players and managers interested in representing Camden Golf Club in the Warren, Gibson, and Major Pennants Teams. If you’d like to be part of the action, simply add your name and details on the forms next to the golf terminals.

Hole in One

Congratulations to Adrian Yakimov for his hole in one on the 6th hole! A fantastic achievement, well done!

This week (Wednesday morning) it was alarming to see the lack of etiquette and ignorance from a golfer with regard to raking bunkers. Greens staff had raked and prepared all bunkers in the morning in preparation for the ladies competition and the first person that entered the bunker at the 13^th elected to ignore the rake and enter and exit the bunker without any effort whatsoever to rake the bunker. At the time the photo was taken multiple groups that had played the back 9 early had passed through.

Congratulations to Robbie Minns!

A huge congratulations to our young pro, Robbie Minns, for his outstanding victory at the Glenmore PGA Open Match on February 17! Robbie delivered an impressive performance, finishing 6 under par to claim the win.
Well done, Robbie - a fantastic achievement! We're proud to have you representing Camden Golf Club.

Golfing Members Badge Draw every Thursday night after book in for golfing members. The draw starts off with $200, increasing by $50 each week if unclaimed, maxing out at $1550.

A golfing member will be randomly selected from our system. If your name is called and you're present at the club, you'll have just 3 minutes to claim the prize.
