Reminder for Saturday Players

We kindly request that if you do not intend to play on Saturday, please notify the pro shop as soon as possible or remove yourself via the Camden Golf Club App. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

Please note that due to current weather and course conditions, golf carts will not be available on the course this weekend. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Rest assured, they will return as soon as conditions improve. Thank you for your understanding.

Kindly note that when submitting your scorecards, please choose to do so either physically with a scorecard or digitally through the app, but NOT both. Submitting through both channels can cause confusion in our system. Thankyou for your cooperation.

Womens Camden Cup 2024

Saturday 8th June 2024
Join us for our 18 Hole Stroke Event. Open to both Visitors and Members at $50 and $30 respectively, with exciting Prize Money up for grabs.
Winners will be divided into 3 categories: Scratch, Nett, and a Junior division (minimum 4 players) for both Scratch and Nett with nearest to pins! Check the Club Website for the draw by June 3rd, 2024.

Womens Camden Cup 2024 Entry Form

We are now just a little over 3 weeks post greens renovations and they have all mostly healed up nicely, excluding the greens that struggled at the back end of summer with some weaker areas. We have been lightly topdressing any voids and thin areas on these greens such as the 7^th,10^th,12^th and 14^th. These 4 greens in particular have shown a massive improvement over the past week and will continue to do so over the coming week or two as we micro manage them back. We have been giving them small applications of granular fertiliser along with the nutrient they receive from our overall fertility program.

The decision was made to remove the 14^th green from play temporarily to give it a bit of a break and the best chance to recover from the rigours of play and pressure from the humidity in particular at the back end of summer. We have been giving it light applications of fertiliser and light dustings to assist it with returning to a healthy state. It continues to improve and before long will return to play at a suitable time. There is no doubt it is enjoying the rest. We do apologise for any inconvenience and appreciate the understanding.

The 5^th collar was solid tined and over seeded with rye grass followed by a top dress. We are doing this as a bit of a trial heading into the winter months as this area always struggles with wear and tear due to the shady conditions, intrusive tree roots sub surface and foot traffic from golfers. We currently have this area roped off and marked GUR. Please replace the ropes and stakes if you are to take them down.

A reminder to carry out your due diligence with regard to golf etiquette when it comes to raking bunkers, repairing pitch marks and filling divots. It is the responsibility of each individual to take care of our course.

Super Seniors Pennants

Attention seniors aged 65 and above as of July this year: If you're keen on representing the club in pennants, kindly add your name and details to the sheet adjacent to the golf score terminal.
Matches are scheduled primarily on Mondays or Tuesdays during the week, starting from late July.
If you believe you have the skills for 'A' grade play, we enthusiastically invite you to join us!

Join us for Masters Monday at Camden Golf Club on April 15th, 2024! Start the day at 6am watching the Masters Tournament final round, then hit the course for 18 holes of golf with a cart in a mixed stableford. Breakfast and lunch are included. Junior Golf Tournament

Join us for the 2024 Camden Futures Junior Golf Tournament at Camden Golf Club's Studley Park on Sunday, April 28th. With $1500 in prizes, the tournament is open to boys and girls, featuring Scratch & Nett Prizes, Long Drives, and Nearest-to-Pin competitions.
