November Medal

Congratulations to the following members winning the November Medal and qualifying for the Medal of Medals in December.

Master Pennants

Last Sunday, the Master Pennant Team travelled to the beautiful Roseville Golf Course to play a semi final of Division 3 against a very strong Woolooware team with the winner getting a spot in division 2 in 2022 and a chance to win the 'flag' this weekend.

What a match and how close it was!

Scenario - with 6 matches completed, with the scores 3-3, two games went down the 18th hole.  Rob Bolton and Neville Hoskin were both all square playing the last.  We needed to win one and halve the other to win.  In a nervous 15 minutes the boys came through when Neville got his square and Rob won the Par 5 last.

Final score - 4 1/2 to 3 1/2.  Win!

Well done to all players and caddies.  A great deal of effort has gone into this result.  Particular thanks to Managers, Bob Zelesco and Noel Beattie for their encouragement and our apologies for the heart stopping moments.

Greens Renovations

Greens renovations commence at 2pm this Sunday, 7th November - the first tee closes at this time.  The course is then closed on Monday and Tuesday (8th and 9th).  We will be hoping for good weather for the team doing the hard work.
